Annual National Shrimp Festival

Gulf Shores is hosting their 42 ^rd Annual National Shrimp Festival this October. This culinary event will be paired with more than 80 hours of musical entertainment of national, regional and local acts from Perdido Key and the surrounding area! There will be a range of acts including Blues, Motown, Southern Rock, Jazz, Zydeco and Country starting from 10am through to the end of the Festival.

There will be 50 local and regional vendors all along the boardwalk and 200 lbs of shrimp will be prepared and given away for everyone to sample at different tasting times. There will be over 200 art booths with craft vendors, model cars to view, sand sculpture contests, and a “Shrimp Festival Idol” similar to American Idol. There will even be an “Outdoor World” where you can explore fishing, boating, hunting and other outdoor vendors and activities.
 

This unique outdoor event should not be missed. Conveniently, the festival is just a short drive from Perdido Key.  I will see you on October 10 ^th through the 13^th from 10:00am to 10:00pm Thursday-Saturday, with and end time of 5:00pm on Sunday in Gulf Shores!
