September 22nd marks the last day of summer. How will you spend it? My suggestion is a day in the sun, in the
sand, and on the beaches of Perdido Key!

Perdido Key is a charming beachside community. With resorts boasting beautiful beaches in their front yards and several
restaurants and a hidden gem of a golf course minutes down the road! Bordering on summer and fall, it’s the perfect time of year to experience both.

For some laid-back, local beach time head over to Johnson's Beach. Sitting in a secluded spot on the east side of the island, Johnson's Beach invites all to stroll down the National Seashore in Perdido Key. You can fish from the gulf, take advantage of the picnic shelters, hike, bike, or swim. Primitive camping is also available on location as well as Lifeguards on duty.

Or head on down the street to the beautiful greens in Perdido at Lost Key Golf Club. Lost Key Gold Club is an 18 hole Arnold Palmer Signature Design Course. Providing golf holes that promise golfers of all skill levels a fun and challenging game, this course is nicknamed The Lost Ball Course. Keep an eye out for the waterways!

A little way down sits a variety of shops and plazas that will invite you to stay. Everything you need for entertainment can all be found within a short drive of the resorts.  There are movie theatres, arcades, mini-golf, and an abundance of water sports just waiting down the road.  The Key includes unique shops and tasty eateries both indoor and open air, with tourists and locals alike lining up!  Many of the venues showcase our own local artists and talents. Live music is always better under the stars!
