It's time for Fat Tuesday!

You don’t have to head to New Orleans for an authentic Mardi Gras Celebration. North West Florida has Mardi Gras parties and parades planned throughout the area! Let’s take a look at how Perdido Key turns its laid-back, beach town atmosphere into a bead-throwing, moon pie tossing, good time!

“Let the good times roll” all evening long at Pensacola’s 12^th night kick off. On Sunday, January 5^th starting at 5pm, visit the historic streets of downtown to celebrate the 2014 Mardi Gras Season along with the Krewes. Once there you will also see the Kings and Queens for the upcoming season, enjoy a variety of King Cake, and visit with the town crier!  Admission is free and will be all along Palafox Street.

Looking for a more active way to ring in the season?  Join the Krewe du Ya Yas at the Florabama on Saturday, February 8^th at 9am for “I Pink I Can Run.”  The funds raised for this event will be used to raise awareness in our community about breast cancer.  Admission is $30.  For more details call 850-492-0611.

February 28^th marks the 60^th Annual Krewe of Lafitte Mardi Gras Parade!  Starting at 8pm in Downtown Pensacola, jois us for the only illuminated nighttime parade in Pensacola.  The crowd can expect to see marching bands, lighted floats, and great throws courtesy of the Krewe of Lafitte.  Admission is free, so grab your friends and get ready to catch some holiday fun!

Mobile will have you saying “Laissez les bons temps rouler” throughout these winter months. Starting on February 14^th, and then held a variety of days leading up to the big parade on March 4th, Mobile throws a Mardi Gras Celebration! Fabulous floats, costumes, and Jazz Bands will parade through the heart of town. With a different Krewe hosting each parade you are sure to see a variety of revelers out for a good time!
