My night with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos

If you’re here in Perdido Key  on your Perdido Key Vacation and are looking for something fun to do with your family, I definitely recommend going to a Pensacola Blue Wahoos Game! I recently decided to buy two tickets to a Saturday night game in downtown Pensacola. They still had a few left when I purchased them that Thursday evening, my advice is buy them early. You’ll be able to pick your seats if you purchase them early. Also if you buy them online, you can pass up the 20 minute line for the box office. We sat in section 106, which was a perfect view of the game for only 13$ a ticket! It was so much fun. It was a little rainy the day of the game and I was worried that the game would be cancelled. I decided to look up the Blue Wahoos Facebook page and check to see if they had updates. Luckily they are very current on Facebook and posted that the game would go on as planned! We got there a little after the game had started and it was a beautiful night. It was warm but not too hot. That night they had some fun kid friendly additions to the game. They performed their “Fur Circus” which was a couple of really adorable circus themed mascots that performed some really cute acts and were very interactive with the crowd! The kids around us and even us adults were giggling and laughing at the characters! We grabbed some popcorn and a drink to share as we enjoyed the rest of the game. Throughout the game they had tons of cool merchandise you could win, Frisbees, t-shirts, etc! We stayed the entire game, and although we didn’t win, we sure did get to enjoy some incredible fireworks! I was expecting some small fireworks, maybe a couple of roman candles, but I was pleasantly surprised by the huge fireworks. They lasted way longer than I thought and were absolutely gorgeous to watch over the field. As we gathered our belongings and walked to the car we had huge smiles on our faces and vowed that we would definitely do this again.  I HIGHLY recommend attending a Blue Wahoos game while you’re here on your Perdido Key vacation! You will have a great time!
