Our Favorite Fall Festivals Along the Emerald Coast of Florida

Fall is one of our favorite seasons along the Emerald Coast of Florida and Perdido Key is our first choice for a fall vacation. Nestled between Pensacola, Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama, this quaint little beach town offers the best of both worlds. Spend some quiet time on these breathtaking beaches. The Annual Pensacola Seafood Festival takes place on September 23^rd. Enjoy delicious seafood prepared by some of the area’s favorite restaurants and chefs. Live music by a variety of musicians will be played throughout the festival. Over 150 artisans and craftsman come from all over the country to participate making this the largest arts and crafts fair in Northwest Florida.

Music will fill the air during the first week of October with the Pensacola Beach Songwriter’s Festival. Original music from talented artists will be performed at nearly two dozen beachside bars, restaurants, and other venues. It’s a week full of great music and learning the stories behind the songs not to mention incredible views at most locations.

Gulf Shores, Alabama presents the Annual Shrimp Festival on October 6^th through the 9^th. Savor fresh seafood straight from the Gulf during this four-day festival. Hosting an impressive musical line-up with over 100 hours of entertainment. There will be a melody for all including Blues, Motown, Southern Rock, Jazz, Zydeco, and Country. Let the music play while you feast on delicious Gulf fare!

On October 14^th you can enjoy A Taste of the Beach, Pensacola Beach that is. The area’s best restaurants will be showcasing their signature dishes for $5. Enjoy a local team cooking challenge, free concert, beer tastings, and so much more! Panoramic views of sugar white sand and emerald-green waters are included at this most popular event held at Casino Beach.
