Thursday July 22, 2010 Perdido Sun beach Report

Checked the beach today and it was beautiful. The sand was very white and the seaweed has been cleaned up. There was no sign of tar balls or oil on the sand or washing up in the water. I was happy to see the Periwinkles still washing up in the waves and quickly burrowing in the sand. It is a normal hot July day and most people on the beach were in the water. The Temperature is 92 degrees but it feels much warmer in the sun. Luckily we still have that great breeze blowing that makes it enjoyable. The air continues to smell fresh and salty . It is a great day to be on the beach or in the pool!
